NAPPR Accepting RFPs for Web Design and Development

Purpose

Native American Professional Parent Resources is looking for a qualified website developer to assist with design and maintenance of a new website for the organization.

 

Background Information

NAPPR, Inc., is an Albuquerque-based non-profit, organization, founded in 1982. NAPPR is dedicated to empower, educate and provide support services to build healthy children and families. The organization grew from a tribal home visiting program, in-home counseling and support service organization to aid new mothers with basic infant care and health nutrition. Proposal Scope of Services

The purpose of this project is to provide a professionally-designed, user-friendly website for NAPPR that aids in its mission and vision of building healthy children and families. The website is a source of information for not only NAPPR family support programs but serves as a resource for parents and Indian Health Services' regional dental support programs. The organization would also like to use the site as an informational tool to increase donations. When considering your submission, please include:

  • Updating and creating a new website for the organization that is also mobile responsive 
  • Offer web consulting and web design services
  • Provide security updates as needed and content changes as needed
  • Provide on-going technical assistance to NAPPR staff on website maintenance
  • Basic web training to staff members responsible for updating the site 
  • Incorporate social sharing on specific pages 
  • Integration of an e-newsletter sign-up
  • Integration of payment system for fundraising, and tuition registration and fees 
  • Can display changing photographs and video content on the homepage, donation page and related pages 
  • Considers SEO as part of web design, development and maintenance 
  • Hosting recommendation: Provide suggestions on the best website hosting opportunity, either third party or with your company

 

Submission Requirements

Applicants must submit a complete proposal package on or before the due date. A complete package shall include:

1. Letter of Intent

2. Resume or Curriculum Vita

a. Relevant Experience/Qualifications

b. Years in Operation

c. Client Listing and References

3. Description of experience with similar type of work with samples or links to samples

4. Detailed cost proposal, including hourly rates, any travel costs and other expenses. Include number of hours and days on site required to meet needs.

5. Description of billing practices and payment terms.

6. Proposed schedule for project.

 

Due Date

An electronic copy of the proposal package must be emailed to Lorraine Edmo at ledmo@nappr.org with the subject line ”Website Development” by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 23, 2018. A selection will be made within a week after the closing date and potential contractors will be notified.

 

Proposal Review and Evaluation

Only complete submittals will be evaluated. Evaluation will be based on the following criteria

  • Management and personnel qualifications
  • Approach to delivery of services
  • Relevant experience
  • Price of Scope of Services
  • Other factors that may be determined by NAPPR, Inc.
