NAPPR's Dental Program Materials Win Two National Awards

NAPPR's Dental Support Center has been selected as a winner in the 16th annual National Health Information Awards. 

“First Tooth, First Exam” materials received a Bronze Award for the Health Information Program category. (Click here to view the award.)

“2009 Children's Dental Health Month” campaign received a Merit Award for the Special Health Event category. (Click here to view the award.)

These entries were chosen from more than 1,000 submissions from organizations such as the Mayo Clinic, UC Berkeley School of Public Health, Krames Communications, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. The program is intended to recognize the nation's best consumer health information programs and materials. Entries were judged by a national panel of health information experts. The program is coordinated annually by the Health Information Resource Center, a national clearinghouse for consumer health information programs and materials.  More information on the awards is at www.healthawards.com.
